The Amazon Rainforest represents over half of the planet's remaining rainforests and comprises the largest and most species-rich tract of tropical rainforest in the world.

To date, at least 40,000 plant species, have been scientifically classified in the region.

Amazon is one of the largest centers of vegetation plasma of domestic species of flora in the world with mega diversity and great variety of species it harbors.

In Amazon there are about 50,000 vegetal species (20% of the world total), of which around 2,000 are used by native people with healing purposes. There is no other country on Earth with such variety, originality and yield of wild flora.

With this background and acknowledging the world trend towards the natural in medicine, many institutions has established scientific research center worldwide developing the next generation herbal supplements.
